Ethelo in action in South Surrey and Whiterock

Ethelo was recently featured in the PeaceArch News alongside local MLA Gordon Hogg

The Rotary Field House in Surrey hosted the first stage of an Ethelo consultation aimed at making the community more “caring, resilient and connected.”

The community engagement initiative, in partnership with local MLA Gordon Hogg, hosted 47 local community leaders who spent the evening discussing different strategies to benefit the community. These strategies will be profiled in the online stage of the Ethelo process, which will begin later in July and will open to all local residents to add to and comment on. Ethelo will be used to help shortlist some of the best ideas for collective action, which will be the subject of the next live meeting to be hosted in the fall.

The PeaceArch News did an in depth story on the Ethelo consultation, talking about the goals with quotes from participants. You can read more here: http://www.peacearchnews.com/news/265300921.html
